What to do with your Anxieties. This short blog aims to help you with handling anxiety.

Anxiety

If you ever feel anxious, talk to God about it. According to 1 Peter 5:7 NIV, you should "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." In the TLB version, it says, "Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you."

Anxious means to experience worry, unease, or nervousness, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome. It's when you want something to happen so much is causes uneasiness. (Ref. Oxford Languages)

In moments like these we have a solution, we can find solace by entrusting our problems and worries to God. Cast them away and separate yourself from anxiety, unease, nervousness, fear, and doubt, and allow God to shoulder your burdens, granting you peace.

Philippians 4:6-7 CEB says, "Don’t be anxious about anything; rather, bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks. Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will keep your hearts and minds safe in Christ Jesus."

The next time you begin to feel anxious about a situation tell God about it, and trust that He will help you. Sign up to receive our blogs directly to your inbox
