Part of God's gift of salvation for everyone is to live a sick-free life. All that is required is faith.

Refuse to live enslaved to sickness.
In John 5:5-9 Jesus asks the man who was sick for 38 years of his life if he wanted to be healed. All the man needed was a desire or want and then he could be healed. But the man thought he had to do some type of activity first before he could get his healing. He thought he needed to be placed into a pool in order to be sick-free.
Similar to many of us nowadays, we think that we have to engage in certain physical, mental, or spiritual activities or routines in order to experience healing.
While many may advise meditation, breathing exercises, visualization, chanting, yoga, physical exercises, and more for healing, with Jesus Christ, none of these extra practices are necessary for healing. All you need is faith. Believe that "by His stripes you are [already] healed" - Isaiah 53:5.
Don’t be dazzled by other people’s insight. Instead, look to Jesus then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones (Proverbs 3:7-8).
Faith is all it takes!
All you need to be healed is faith—faith in trusting what Jesus has already accomplished for you (Isaiah 53:5).
There is no need to take medications, substances, drugs, or subscribe to all the numerous healing methods that are available to us because Jesus Christ has already bore our sickness and carried our pains, so we do not have to (Matthew 8:17, 1Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:4-5).
In the story one of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?” “I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.” Jesus told him, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!” Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up his sleeping mat and began walking... John 5:5-9.
Jesus stated that he, as the Son of Man, did not come to destroy or harm people's lives, but to save them (Luke 9:56).
That is what the devil does: steal, kill, and destroy; and sickness does all of these: steal, kill, destroys you, pulls you down, ruin your day, ruin your life, wreck, disrupt, frustrate, and prevents you from living a peaceful life (John 10:10).
But Jesus came to save us, rescue us, help us, set us free, deliver, and protect us; because “What is impossible with man is possible with God” - Luke 18:27.
The Bible brings physical healing to your body and mental health to your soul.
What must you do?
When you Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ you will be saved, and part of salvation is being healed (Acts 2:21, Romans 10:10).
Once you are saved you now have authority, power, and rights. You can now speak to the sickness and command it to go away. You can cast out the infirmity (poor health) in Jesus's name and order and announce strength, good health, and physical health.
Refuse to accept and live enslaved to sickness like the gentleman who was sick for 38 years. No matter the illness or condition you may be experiencing such as arthritis, fibroids, sickness, weakness, imperfection, ailment, infection, allergy, disorder, declining health, etc.; rebuke, reject, and condemn it. Put simply, do not accept any form of sickness.
Do not settle for sickness when you don't have to, and do not do the unnecessary practices to get healed when the solution is simply asking God for healing in faith.
Remember, as a born-again Christian you are now a new person. Your old nature is gone, allowing you to be broken free from having to remain sick (2 Corinthians 5:17, 1Peter 1:23).
When you study the ministry of Jesus Christ, what you will notice is Jesus was constantly healing. He had a great passion to see people healed and his passion then is the same passion now.
There are many Scriptures on Jesus's desire to see us healed and I share some of them below.
Scriptures on Jesus healing
God is faithful and can be trusted to help you. The word trust means to have complete confidence in someone. It's having a firm belief in their strength and ability. It is having assurance in the person's creditability, character, and their words. While trusting people may result in pain and letdowns, this is not the case with God.
Jesus came to set the captives FREE and with Jesus there is freedom (John 8:36). Freedom from sickness, poverty, and every bad thing life brings!

A call for salvation
When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, His spirit will come to live inside you. This is one of the greatest blessings of salvation. You don't have to go through someone else to get to God, and He will live in your heart where you and Him become one and have a relationship.
All you have to do is make the choice of salvation by repenting of your sins and accepting Jesus into your life by confessing that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that He came from Heaven to die for your sins (Romans 10:9).
Here's a prayer you can repeat:
"Jesus, I confess that you are Lord, and I believe you died and was risen for my sins. I repent and ask for forgiveness of my sins, and I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior. Come into my heart and remove my sins. Thank you for forgiving me and making me into a new person in Jesus' name, Amen."
Once you have done this, please pray and ask God to guide you to a ministry where you can grow and start living the abundant life Jesus promised and died for.
