God’s promises cannot be aborted. He keeps His promises regardless of what we do (Job 42:2).

If He said it, then it will happen regardless of our actions
What God says, will happen regardless of what we do. For instance, Sarah tried to have a child through her servant Hagar after she couldn't conceive with Abraham (Genesis 16:1–4), and Rachel offered her servant Bilhah as a wife to Jacob so he could have a child with her (Genesis 30:1-4). This behavior was a family pattern since Sarah was Rachel’s grandmother.
Although the actions of both women were not what God wanted for the men with whom He made promises, their actions could not thwart God's plan.
Both women unknowingly attempted to take on God's role and created a situation that neither aligned with God's desired method nor timing.
Despite this, God promised Abraham and confirmed it with Isaac and Jacob (Genesis 28:15; 32:12; 35:11-12), that He would increase their descendants as the stars in the sky and that they would prosper (Genesis 12:1-3).
The emergence of nations from Jacob, later known as Israel, wasn't without complications, as he had his twelve sons by four different women, yet the promise was still fulfilled (Genesis 35:22-26).
"Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails." — Proverbs 19:21
Could Israel have fathered his 12 children with his two wives or even just his first wife Leah? Yes, because what is impossible for us is possible for God (Genesis 18:14; Matthew 19:26; Luke 1:37; Mark 10:27).
We may not always get it right. We might stray or intervene. Others might try to hinder us or act like Laban did when he attempted to deceive Jacob (Genesis 30:25-31:55), but no matter our actions or the actions of others, much like Israel, once known as Jacob, God's promises to us will remain unstoppable.
Therefore, all our worrying is unnecessary, because neither our actions nor inaction can nullify what God said would happen.
So, what should we do?
Devote and spend time with God and follow His guidance, as everything else is already taken care of (Matthew 6:33-34).
Just as Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob did, pay attention to God. Whether it involves relocating, implementing a strategy, or waiting, simply follow through. By doing so, you will earn the reward of obedience, and everything will go well for you (Jeremiah 7:23).
One sided promises
Some promises are unilateral, like those made to Abraham, while others are conditional, such as the one in Psalm 37:4, which states that if we first find joy in the Lord, then He will fulfill our heart's desires. Or how if we have faith then whatever we ask God we will receive (Matthew 21:22).
Regardless of the type of promise or the time it takes, you can be assured of its fulfillment because God always keeps His promises.
All thing work for our good
There was an incident involving Jacob when his father-in-law, Laban, attempted to deceive him due to Jacob's ability to bring him wealth. Laban exploited Jacob, and when Jacob sought to leave, Laban manipulated him.
Despite the ongoing exploitation and manipulation, God transformed Laban's schemes and used them against him, ultimately blessing Jacob. And regardless of Laban's numerous attempts to take advantage, God turned the situation to benefit Jacob (Genesis 30:25-43; 31:1-29, 38-42).
These kinds of revelations are not always easy to recognize or grasp. Only by studying His word can God provide you with mysteries and insights from the Bible. This is why reading the Bible is crucial, as it reveals who God is and what He is capable of doing.
Two-sided promises
We may forfeit some of God's promises if we fail to fulfill our responsibilities or do our part. For example, we can conquer worry by choosing not to be anxious and instead, pray and humbly request from God with gratitude for what we require (Philippians 4:6-7). Additionally, His peace will be with us if we turn to Him (Matthew 11:28-29).
Or how no matter what we are going through in life, if they become overwhelming, then we should give it entirely to God, in exchange for what He has. What Jesus has is gentle and humble and it is where we will find rest for our troubled soul.
Or how the Lord secures the path of those who take joy in Him; though we may trip, we won't collapse, for the Lord upholds us with His hand (Psalm 37:23-24; Proverbs 3:5-6).
Or by placing our hope in God, He refreshes our strength, enabling us to soar on wings like eagles, run without being tired, and walk without fainting (Isaiah 40:31).
And how those who love the Lord will be blessed with the best and receive the finest. He will bring them joy, meet their expectations, and make them happy and content (Psalm 81:13-14; 16).
When you prioritize God as your top focus and actively seek, follow, pursue, go after, and value your relationship with Him, along with communicating with God, you will always have good things in your life (Psalm 34:10).
John 8:12 states, I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will not walk in darkness, make poor decisions, engage in wrongdoing, and will be safeguarded.
Then when we respect our parents, it results in a longer life (Exodus 20:12), among other benefits.
These are just a few examples of the types of reciprocal or two-sided promises that require us to take action in order to receive what He has promised.
The Bible is filled with God's promises. These are assurances that will occur for us as long as we have faith and obey.
These are promises provided to us that should lead us to live a life of complete happiness and freedom.
God's promises are already fulfilled; we just need to stick to the plan to ensure we don't miss it.
No matter what we do, our actions cannot nullify the unilateral promises of God.
It may have took four women to pull of what God wanted to establish through Jacob, but it ultimately did. Likewise, the following generation spent 40 years in the desert instead of just 4 days because of unbelief and rebellion (Psalm 95:8-11; Numbers 14:20-24, 26-38, 40-45), yet God's promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob was kept.
One more person worth mentioning is David. David encountered numerous obstacles, including evading death, residing in caves, and having his family kidnapped, but the promise of his kingship came to pass.
And even though David later sinned and it resulted in the kingdom's division, the promise that the world's Savior would come from his lineage was still fulfilled.
We are not much different. How often has God called us to step out in faith to receive His blessings, but we were scared, refused, or chose our own way? Making what should have happened sooner be delayed, sometimes even pushing it to a future generation, just like the Israelites.
No matter what we do, we cannot negate or nullify God's promises. Even if we have deviated from the path, and it may not happen through us or in our timing, what God has proclaimed will ultimately happen.
God said,
"So is my word that comes from my mouth; it does not return to me empty. Instead, it does what I want, and accomplishes what I intend." (Isaiah 55:11).
None of us are perfect, and God knows this and shows us this throughout Scripture. However, regardless of our flaws, God is so able that He still can make what He wants to happen. This is why we must be careful how we treat people despite what they do, because like Joseph (Genesis 37), although he was the favorite child, boasted about his dreams, was hated by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused of rape, and not remembered by his prison mate, God's promise for his life still happened.
None of us are without flaws, and God knows this and illustrates it throughout Scripture. Despite our imperfections, God is powerful enough to fulfill His plans. Therefore, we must be mindful of how we treat others, regardless of their actions.
Like Joseph, even though he was the favored child, bragged about his dreams, was hated by his brothers and sold into slavery by them, wrongly accused of rape, and forgotten by his fellow prisoner, God's promise for his life was still realized.
Stop allowing the devil to deceive and lie to you. Neither you nor your circumstances need to be perfect. We have God's love, favor, mercy, forgiveness, abilities, and nature. It is God who is at work, not us. Our role is to spend time with Him, learn, grow, repent, trust Him, and then we will see why He says, "I am the Lord, and there is no other..." (Isaiah 45:5).
Remember who God is, He can do anything (Jeremiah 32:27) such as transforming hearts (Deuteronomy 30:6; Ezekiel 36:26; Proverbs 21:1; Exodus 14:4), interrupt nature and altering natural events (Exodus 14:21), and much more. Therefore, what He promised to do for you is basically already done.

A call for salvation
When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, His spirit will become one with yours. This is one of the greatest blessings of salvation. You don't have to go through someone else to get to God, as you and Him are now one.
All you must do is receive salvation, simply choosing to repent of your sins and welcome Jesus into your life by confessing Him as Lord. In Romans 10:9 Paul said, "If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Here's a Prayer that you can pray to get saved:
Jesus, I confess that you are Lord, and I believe in my heart that you died and were risen for my sins. I ask for forgiveness of my sins, and I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior—in Jesus' name, Amen.
After this step, pray for guidance to find a ministry where you can grow spiritually, gain knowledge about the kingdom, and begin living the abundant life promised by Jesus.
