Joy

According to John 4:13-14, Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.

With a relationship with Jesus, you'll always have what you need! Jesus is capable of satisfying your needs and fulfilling all your wants, eliminating any sense of discontent.

He will provide you with such fulfillment that you won't feel the urge to engage in relationships, social circles, or pursuits to feel whole. His presence will bring you happiness, tranquility, and fulfillment, ensuring that you never yearn for anything or anyone again, except Him.

There will be no more reliance on harmful or fleeting substances such as drugs. You will no longer seek validation through relationships to find fulfillment. The key is to focus on establishing a connection with Jesus, the source, as doing so will fulfill your desires and nourish your spirit.

You will no longer feel the need to pursuit things that in the end only stringed-you-along and never give you fulfillment.

One common example of your endeavors is the pursuit of money. By prioritizing the pursuit of money over pursuing God, money, or the resources associated with it (such as a job, business, or opportunity), has transformed into your idol or Baal. It has taken the place of your Creator and become your ultimate authority.

This choice comes with problems like temptations, bad influence, being steered away from purpose, and never coming to full satisfaction because you will always crave more.

When you chase after God instead of money, the Lord will guide you continually, giving you water (always having what you need) when you are in your dry season, and restore your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring (Isaiah 58:11 NLT).

When you are dealing with depression or anxiety, (the source) can console you (Psalms 94:19)... When you know you have someone to fall back on for anything, whom you can trust, who has all the answers, who will provide and protect you, then you have much to be joyful for (Romans 15:13).

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17)

Having Jesus in your life brings peace. There are many things on earth that can disrupt our peace. You don't need to search far or beyond yourself; factors that steal peace are all around us. However, the satisfaction that come from God allows you to be at peace even when you are in unpeaceful situations.

Some of us have lived life thinking we have to accept this way of living, but a life with Jesus offers a different experience. His peace has the strength to eliminate anything or anyone hindering your joy (Proverbs 14:30).

Connecting to this source (Jesus) will provide you with the ultimate satisfaction, so there is no need to change careers, relocate, or seek a different partner. You will experience an abundant life—a life that is whole (John 10:10). Additionally, you will no longer have the desire for greed as the excessive appetite will vanish.

You will no longer feel empty inside because you are now living with purpose. With purpose as your driving force, you will find clarity and direction, leaving confusion behind.

Desiring something intensely and thinking it will bring you happiness will be substituted with reality. You will no longer be preoccupied with worldly worries, and those passionate cravings will fade away.

This is what being free in Christ Jesus looks like, it will make you free from anything in life that steals your joy, peace, and from what keeps you mentally or physically in bondage (John 8:35, 2 Corinthians 3:17, John 8:32).

Jesus is the supreme source of satisfaction. In Jesus Christ, you will find complete fulfillment. You will not rely on material possessions, resources, individuals, fame, career, title, position, wealth, or social standing for happiness, contentment, or joy. Your sole desire and requirement will be Him.

My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work - John 4:34. Similar to Jesus, by following the Father's will, you will receive everything necessary for sustenance and growth in life. You will no longer rely on temporary or materialistic things, solutions, or services to lead a fulfilling life.

Try Jesus, then you will see that you'll never thirst again!

 A call for salvation

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, His spirit will come to live inside you. This is one of the greatest blessings of salvation. You don't have to go through someone else to get to God, and He will live in your heart where you and Him become one and have a relationship.

All you have to do is make the choice of salvation by repenting of your sins and accepting Jesus into your life by confessing that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that He came from Heaven to die for your sins (Romans 10:9).

Here's a prayer you can repeat:

"Jesus, I confess that you are Lord, and I believe you died and was risen for my sins. I repent and ask for forgiveness of my sins, and I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior. Come into my heart and remove my sins. Thank you for forgiving me and making me into a new person in Jesus' name, Amen."

Once you have done this, please pray and ask God to guide you to a ministry where you can grow and start living the abundant life Jesus promised and died for.
